Welcome to Leap Learn Live the Blog! My name is Stacey Clark, and I am a supershero! AND if you are a mom, you are too. Own it!
Have you noticed that lately there are a lot of superheros in the spotlight? Interestingly, none of them are moms like us. Everyone everywhere knows that moms are the world's true superheros, or should I say sheros? A supershero mom is no marvel, it's real all day every day.
With all that moms do for their families, and even their communities, you would think there would be more support in the world for their personal development, more monuments, holidays and free stuff. At a minimum, though there should be more support for working moms in the workplace, and policies that help, not hinder a mom's professional growth. With that said...
My tiara is tipped to all moms everywhere, whether you work at home or out in the world. In my eyes, the work you do, cultivating human beings, is bigger and more important than any other work done on this planet. All of you should know that I have nothing but love and respect for any woman who chooses to be a real mother. With that said...
This blog is meant to create a space for working mothers, and mothers who want and need to work: The goal is to build community, provide support, and help working moms and moms who want to work, strengthen their 21st-century knowledge, skills and abilities, while designing a life they love living.
If you are a working mom, or a mom who wants to work, it's time to join the fold and get the respect, support and free stuff you deserve. The Leap Learn Live Tribe is your tribe, a new band of sisters ready to support you and push you into the life you deserve. Are you ready?
In the coming days, this blog will begin posting to three sections, Leap, Learn and Live.
LEAP The Leap posts, are where working moms can share their stories of both home and work challenges as well as successes, and get generative feedback from other working moms who understand where they are coming from. No one is perfect, we all make mistakes. Mistakes when reflected upon create the foundation for learning. That's why judgement is not allowed, only support and understanding.
LEARN The Learn posts are where moms can find articles and tools to help them develop the 21st-century knowledge, skills and abilities they need to compete in the digital/information/global economy. The fourth industrial revolutions is here and working moms who want to stay employed need to hone and own the skills 21st-century employers are looking for.
LIVE The Live posts are dedicated to lifestyle design. they will include posts on wellness, finance and budgeting, organization, time management, and a host of other topics that can help working moms lead higher-quality lives. Live posts should help working moms create the fulfilling, purposeful, healthy and happy lives they really want to live.
